With respect to this post more thinking of a reason why MLX would settle for a minority interest rather than just move on if not successful in getting control. Rover 1 could have enough copper for a mine operation but no mention has been made of any copper by product at any of the their West Aus gold mines.
Tennant Creek (Rover) to Tefler (ABY) is some 3000km or 40-45 hours by road carting the roar oxide to the concentrator. Not sure if this sort of operation makes any logistical sense.
