Sandfire is expanding its copper horizons. It is not sitting still - WA, Sth Aust, NSW, Q'ld, NT and Montana USA. It's been in expansionary mode for some time now, and has just increased its stake in Montana.
MLX must have the same long-term view ie positive.
Interesting, and important too, to note that despite the 12% drop in copper price since the offer was made, MLX is keen to proceed. The price drop may turn out to be the catalyst for success.
