I haven't been looking at this for a while and some may remember my comments on MMJ's chairman who is chairman of around 5-6 other listed entities and a full time partner of a legal firm. In a recent MMJ AR directors awarded themselves performance bonuses as directors for effectively staying on the board. In the AR they did note awarding directors performance bonuses may not be normal practice (as it could be perceived as a conflict of interest) but stated directors acted more as management who normally got performance bonuses. So the chairman appears to be a very busy man. Now that directors have outsourced management I wonder if they can justify the performance bonuses now they are acting just as directors.
