For anyone wondering why the discount rate matters so much, look at the sensitivity analysis, Table 21. If you reduce the bullish price assumptions by 30%, and increase the discount rate to a far more realistic 12% (per the raises they’ve done as noted above), the post-tax NPV falls from C$2.2B to C$635M, i.e. -71%
Not such an exciting number is it?
