I was a bit short on time yesterday but I might be able to expand a bit. Leaving aside the biochip announcement and getting specific about the 12CQ announcement on 21.07.2022 -

the company mentions 3D modelling and simulations of chip design. This could be an indication that AXE is very much on the ball with the next innovation in chip manufacture. TSMC for example is talking of 3D system integration as the next way to extend nm processes and that involves stacking transistors in 3D.

While AXE is working at the meeting point of quantum and nano scales, it is looking for a practical way to engineer quantum functionality into a chip at the earliest. Carbon nanotube transistors are said to be 5 years away and while Martin on our team has engineered a single atom transistor, they are said to be decades away from mainstream use.

Just to put things in context, TSMC has 8000 scientists and engineers at one of its R&D sites. AXE is punching way above its weight IMO and the sheer workload, milestones and expertise it has achieved is very impressive.

And as I've been saying recently, the next announcements should give us more info and a better crack at the SP. It's when the chip maker and target market(s) are known that it can translate into a meaningful market cap.
