This is the sort of thing I would just expect to see get released. Not an announcement that they're beginning development on it without any ETA.
There's should be lots of features in development, this one being quite trivial and should just be released and notified in the newsfeed of the platform.
Maybe a market announcement once it's generated x new users at a rate of y and changing the profile and trajectory of the platform or user base.
These features should just be appearing overnight IMO.
