I think a good example is for the gamers that work during the day and are unable to enter tournaments during the day to to specifically having to be available during certain time periods in order to compete in the tournaments. Allowing tournaments to be completed when we are able to at different time periods through a more flexible schedule will allow for more people to join tournaments when they would not normally be able to without disadvantage. Gives tournament providers flexibility also.
