The Mohawk discovery hole assays weren't too shabby, reasonably shallow and with more than just a trace of gold. The higher grade intercept looked attractively commercial, if future nearby holes are supportive.

pXRF readings from more recent drilling at Mohawk being deep, didn't exactly float my boat. Assays should be through by the end of this calendar third quarter.

today's exploration update didn't exactly light a fire under the SP, with holders selling into one of the likely few remaining opportunities this year. A brief upward spasm can't be ruled out tomoz.

so, what can we expect in the rest of the year from what was until recently one of Australia's premier junior explorers.

CNB cited one RC rig drilling at Mohawk. A diamond rig is doing geotechnical work, which never yields the excitement holders crave.

having chosen to under-resource the exploration unit ahead of the projected mother of all rallies through this decade for Dr Copper, CNB will do its best to wring as much juice out of the dearth of original data that comes its way.

but with that solitary RC rig turning, an exciting news flow appears out of reach.

some news could emanate on the development front. Anything positive at all will do.

the auto self stabilising SP will continue to look after itself. With major global equity market participants talking up a major crash, a heavy tone will weigh on the CNB SP unless some M&A activity rears its ugly head. At least CNB isn't of a scale yet to be of much interest to a foreign predator.

oh, did you know that for every one degree C of global warming that the atmosphere holds an extra 7% water vapor. I don't know if that impacted the long 2024 wet season in Queensland. I hope the 2025 wet doesn't copy this year's wet. If it did that could make for another lost year for CNB..
