The Mojave tenement's rare earth element (REE) potential is indeed valuable. Locksley Resources has discovered extremely high-grade rare earth oxides (TREO) at the El Campo deposit, with rock chip samples showing up to 12.1% TREO. This is significant, as most global deposits range between 0.1% and 4% TREO. The project is located next to MP Materials' Mountain Pass mine, which is the largest rare earths operation in the Western world, supplying around 15% of global REE demand.
Locksley Resources has also conducted stream sediment sampling, identifying six catchment areas with elevated REE geochemistry, further confirming the area's potential for REE mineralization. The company is now accelerating exploration, with applications submitted for core drilling to test deeper mineralization.
