    "Since Molopo sold its Spearfish oil assets to Legacy, Legacy's market cap has increased by $235 million, a sum almost equal to Molopo's current market capitalisation. Legacy are seen in the local market to have stolen Spearfish.

    The consolation prize for Molopo investors is that the company received 6.18 million Legacy shares, under embargo for 180 days. In the past two weeks the value of this holding has lifted by $11.5 million.

    The net sale proceeds of Spearfish to Molopo is now just a whisker under $200 million, or 80 cents per MPO share."
