The 2500m was only an estimate, they were first drilling the deeper holes to target gold, however they potentially could have gone deeper if they are trying to follow a section of vein etc, Or they may have drilled more holes then expected which could in turn be a positive or negative, but usually when they extend holes they are following something. That's my opinion of one way it is being held up, there are many more, sorry I cant help you more
