"Inflation and government policies will blow the input costs sky high"?? CGC may well be in a 'rubbish sector' (more appropriate wording is probably 'volatile and uncertain') but I don't think either inflation or government policies ( which policy is that exactly?) will impact the results. All costs are passed on and competition is not great. It's the weather that is the issue. And a shortage of labour.
It seems PE understands that CGC had been smashed excessively but, in fairness, substainable and predictable earnings will still be unlikely.
