Whilst a disappointing decision from Elanco i don't think this company is done and dusted. Roger gives a fairly honest answer in this video, I suggest SH's take a look. He is very professional in his responses to make sure he doesn't destroy the possibility of further talks with Elanco or other major pharmaceutical companies in the future.
Today's sell off could provide a good entry or top up opportunity. Drug discovery is a long road. While it feels like we have been waiting a long time, its still within standard time frames for drug discovery through to commercialisation. The COVID-19 aspect to MPL is a big spanner in the works. If they are able to accelerate this program, the value in MPL is arguably as big as the cancer side of things in the short term.
