I note in the SMH today an article regarding the sale of the regional newspapers by Nine from the old Fairfax stable. This will inevitably provide Nine with the additional fund to purchase the remaining 45% of Macquarie Media, of which John Singletons owns 32%, so a nice cash sale for him of $115m and after taking out the recent pub purchase in Gosford of $20m odd....TER capital raise here we come.
