Interestingly, the Magazine prospect of 12x surface samples averages an amazing 10.80% copper and 3.15 g/t gold. I would have preferred at least 31 specimens to have been collected to ensure some degree of statistical representation was evident for this zone. However the high copper and gold grades are worth following up. Could this be the surface outcropping of Mongoose Deeps?

Only thing missing is an interpretation of the potential copper mineralogy of the specimens - are they chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite, malachite, etc.

More geochemical sampling or zapping the ground with a portable XRF to map out the copper profile of the region should be considered for the prospect - 1 metre x 1 metre grid, nice work for a vacation student or graduate, a relatively inexpensive exercise!!!!
