they have gotten rid of their IT manager and probably outsourced it so that’s likely a good chunk of their admin cost savings plus letting go of staff across all the stores they closed down
A lot of the staff simply transferred to other stores, and yes the IT guy did leave, and they did outsource, but talking to the staff, that has been a disaster, outsource company knows little or nothing about systems even though they were usng they since late last year.
.....and those costs are per month, not year, so if what you say is true, they are massively over paying everyone.
Maybe the head idiots have done the right thing and taken a significant paycut.
