it seems unbelievable that anybody thought that you could make any money out of these generics.
Surely a few hours with Excel would convince anybody but the most extreme optimist that what ends up trickling down from even a relatively successful product is not going to compensate you for the many years of development - sometimes up to ten years by their own estimation. I note that they said generics were faster to develop with new drugs taking ten years, but now it seems generics can take ten also. Another thing I don’t get.
surely some basic analysis was done on the likely revenues and the costs of development. Surely that would have revealed not to go in the generic direction?
