yep their energy exposure killed them in feb/March so the downside protection didn’t work.
they have been underweight tech which has hurt them the last couple of years.
but last month was their best ever (23%) and if one believes value will outperform over the next few years, as I do, then their new portfolio position is looking good I think.
The urgency to get the share price back to the nta is just to appease short term Shareholders. In many ways a slower reversion with a buyback is more accretive for holders with a longer term horizon.
