I hold both LSF and VG1, I also have a small position in VG8. Despite the different performances between managers, I have faith in both of them.
LSF more specifically, I think are positioned correctly and I have full confidence in their long term strategy. I am more annoyed at myself
for getting in too early than the performance of the fund. I am a big believer in the cyclical turnaround, I am a big believer in Asia and also tend to be a value hunter. Hence why I have large weightings in:
LSF
PGF
VG1
PAI
APL
SEC
PIC
On the matter of shorting, I have no problem with it but believe that timing is everything. I firmly believe to short you can't just rely on fundamental analysis , you need to have some technical analysis skills and run tight stop losses.
