Yeah, I have learnt a few valuable lessons as well.
Unfortunately, it has been a very expensive lesson.
The biggest one for me, is not investing in at the float, even with the perks now being offered.
With the exception of the Magellan funds, you are far better waiting for the invariable discount.
To be honest, I kind of only start considering a closed fund when it reaches a minimum 10% discount now.
