Attached is a correction to this morning's announcement of Meridian Energy
Limited's monthly operating report for the month ending 30 April 2014.
This release shows the correct 10 month operating information on page 8 of
the report.
Highlights this month include:
- Near record level of customer switching numbers in New Zealand during March
2014
- Australian customer numbers now exceeding 8,000, with another 2,800 in the
process of switching in
- Rising national storage with South Island storage approaching average
levels
- Meridian inflows at 75% of average during April
Annual Meeting
Meridian Energy Limited intends to hold its Annual Meeting of shareholders in
Wellington on Wednesday, 29 October 2014 at 2.00pm. Further details including
venue will be advised in the Notice of Meeting.
