Attached is Meridian Energy Limited's monthly operating report for the month
ending 30 April 2014.

Highlights this month include:

- Near record level of customer switching numbers in New Zealand during March
2014
- Australian customer numbers now exceeding 8,000, with another 2,800 in the
process of switching in
- Rising national storage with South Island storage approaching average
levels
- Meridian inflows at 75% of average during April
