An amazing little LIC, this little fund, WIC. Ignored, doesn’t seem to be highly traded. Seems to be picking the correct stocks in the right areas, pays a good dividend, has had good capital appreciation since the fall in March, trading below NTA, etc etc. I wonder what the catalyst will be for its re-rating (if ever ?). The stocks in its portfolio are fairly transparent and easy to follow and at the moment more up, than down. Has had two gangbusters of days in a row and the SP hasn’t moved one iota, particularly interesting if the budget turns out to be kind to miners, resource companies and structural development in general. Seeing Euroz clips the ticket and obviously makes some of its income from the management of WIC, I would assume a change of management is not on the cards, and, as long as it’s this well managed, why would there be. Oh well, hold, keep my mouth shut and just be happy that the fund is going in the right direction. Both in terms of stock picks, and SP.
