Yes. Many of his ideas are based on complicated probabilistic theses, but investing doesn't necessarily reward intellectual elegance any better than simple stodgy buying good quality, profitable, cash generative businesses for reasonable to low prices.
My opinion is that if you need any symbol on your calculator other than the "divided by" symbol to assess a stock, then it isn't cheap enough to buy.
