If you read anything from Peter Thornhill he is a big fan of LIC's. In his recent newsletter he stated he is reducing his stock holdings and just placing them into a few LICs. Not sure if PGF is one of them but from what I have researched he could do worse.
Interested to hear from holders as to what % this LIC make's up in their portfolio and how many other LIC's they hold. I currently don't hold a LIC and have been looking at this one just not sure of what allocation it would/should make up.
Also for a new investor say someone who is 18, would it be wise to start out with this one or build a foundation through ETF's and leave LIC's to say 5-10% of the total?
Not after advice just interested to hear others thoughts and what has and hasn't worked for them.
