I admit I haven't done a web migration for a while. And I can't remember how long it took to migrate data.
I have a gut feel it takes 1-2 days for the dns etc to cross over.
But the Bpg site had bugger all anyway.
When was the last time someone actually tried to look up that site out of curiosity?
This might actually be nothing.
But let's say they are just moving it. Which is fair enough.
Where's the "hey guys, just letting you know that over the new year period we'll be shifting across, so expect delays"
It's actually what shits me about the management. There's just no thought.
And so right now we have people with money tied up jumping at shadows.
And yet a 2 line message two weeks ago would have stopped any conjecture.
