Everybody gets it wrong sometimes, but it is much wiser to learn from mistakes instead of inventing excuses. This is the point of analysing mistakes, to learn from them. Even if other posters don't want to face facts, let's hope that LSF learns something from their misadventures. Many active traders adopt mechanisms that lead to disastrous trades getting closed earlier rather than later.

Pretending that LSF might have closed their Apple short is delusional. It would be equally valid to pretend that LSF increased its short position every time that Apple rose by 10%. We don't know, and LSF don't tell us. More facts please, and less delusion.
