Only reason I'm worried about shorting AAPL, is that consumers are very sticky to the products and will often sacrifice other aspects of their lives to have an Apple product. However, I think they're banking on people "slowing down" their purchasing of products. Like how a guy might get their haircut every 8 weeks instead of every 5 weeks, if money is tight.
We'll see how it plays out, I'm sure they have access to consumer data that we don't.
