MORABISI LITHIUM AND TANTALUM PROJECT MORABASI FIELD WORK COMMENCES Key Highlights  Fieldwork at the Morabasi Lithium & Tantalum Project has commenced  Borg Geoscience currently in Guyana overseeing the commencement of field activities  Review of historical in-country technical data confirms the discovery of additional Spodumene bearing pegmatites within the Morabasi Project area  Further project updates and photo reports to follow  Assays to follow shortly after in first half of November 2016 Greenpower Energy Ltd (ASX: Greenpower, “GPP”, “Company”) is pleased to advise that fieldwork at the Morabasi Lithium and Tantalum Project (“Morabasi Project”) has commenced. The Morabisi Project is located in the rich mineral belt of Central Guyana approximately 100km WSW of Georgetown. Brendan Borg of Borg Geoscience is currently in Guyana overseeing the fieldwork program in conjunction with Guyana Strategic Metals Inc. Whilst in-country Borg Geoscience has conducted a review of the historical mapping and assay data available over the licence area on behalf of Greenpower and has encouragingly identified additional Spodumene outcropping within the Morabasi Project that was previously unidentified. Importantly the Spodumene identified during the review of the historical data is in a different locality to the known Spodumene occurrence and reinforces the view that the Morabasi Project may well be a district scale Lithium and Tantalum project. The fieldwork program aims to test the LCT tupe pegmatites identified across the 40km+ dyke network in the Morabisi Project. As previously advised the initial field program is designed to: 1. Promptly evaluate the potential for high grade Spodumene within the hosted LCT type Pegmatite known to exist 2. Collect suitable sampling material for assay confirmation 3. Explore the broader Project area to delineate the prospectivity of the Ring Dyke systems and 40km pegmatite network The program duration is expected to extend over the coming weeks, and the Company is aiming to provide on-going updates to the market though this period.
Greenpower Executive Director, Gerard King: “The appointment of Borg Geoscience to oversee the fieldwork program on the Morabasi Project is already paying dividends with the team identifying previously unidentified Spodumene within the Morabasi Project license area but encouragingly in a different locality to the existing Spodumene discovery. This may confirm our early thoughts that the Morabasi Project is indeed a district scale project. The Company is quite encouraged with the progress made so far this week by Borg Geoscience and the Guyana Strategic Metals Inc team. The time spent with Government and Ministry officials has further encouraged Greenpower that the Guyana government is pro-development when it comes to resources sector projects and is following the Morabasi Project with interest. The Company looks forward to continuing to update the market regarding the Morabasi Project as appropriate.”
