It does make me wonder about the planning of this expedition.
Surely the excavator team would have bought along a few attachments such as;
...Roch hammer
...Drilling head
...200mm attachment
...4m drill extention shaft.
From what lve reviewed on other lithium explorers the need to take core samples are not the preffered method. I can be corrected here.
If they used a 200mm rock bit with a 4m extension, it would be possible to drill to ~13 metre deep-subject to trench depth, alleviating the need to ship specialty equipment in the first instance?
Obviously if the substrate was positive you would need a drill rig, but at least you would have an exceptional understanding of where to explore and limiting costs in the process.
Maybe lm barking the wrong tree, but its the way of being efficient.
