Yes you are correct one pond liner was repaired/ replaced.From commissioning in late 2004 until the floods of 2010/2011 wet season the plant ran without an RO plant. I emailed David Wrench some time ago regarding the brine ponds, but no reply. I would think there would a good deal of brine in holding ponds.
When QPME beds down the MGP, maybe some of the $30m rehab bond could be used to help find a solution to the salts. I reckon the Gov will be pushing it.AIMO.
