Imo, sounds like the typical down ramping by the battery people. They are just like the government reading the tea leaves as gospel when a fact check of the future will no doubt show that the battery storage takes a lot longer, costs a lot more than anticipated and won’t actually be as big, efficient, or economical as first planned or announced…
And let’s not forget that battery storage is storage - it isn’t the production of electricity, which is what the TPS is doing right now. QPM has been ironing out the wrinkles for a bit over 12 months now since the Moranbah acquisition - in the real world this process is necessary.
I’m looking forward to what ‘25 will bring. Haven’t felt this confident in QPM’s prospects in quite some time.
