I don't know about all the posters but there is one poster in particular who is unable to answer if 2% copper is economical after making insinuations that it's not.
Naturally the true bearish response to my question would be "yes, but over a wide enough range and we need more drill holes"
He cannot give that factually correct answer because it would show he's been trolling the entire time and is not even a real bear.
I'm not mad at them though it's funny and I can scoop up a few more shares at a more attractive MC. Laugh at me in a year or 2 if I'm wrong, I'm a man and I'll cop it...but to be making judgement now when we don't have enough holes in the ground yet shows a lack of knowledge and patience. Not everyone here is a short term trader.
You're also spot on, it speaks volumes about a person when they need to insult and deride other posters to make their point. Notice how there's very little discussion of technical or practical matters and most posts are outright lies, such as insinuations that the arctic is not viable for mining?
I even see the same posting styles on bay's forum and as a side note, insinuations that AW1 is out to screw bay over. This is a wild conspiracy and absolutely not the intent of any AW1 shareholders. The results released were in fact quite positive, less so on the deep stuff in relation to the market's speculative expectation (hype) but far more so than the market expected with the surface stuff. I don't believe for a second Dave would have wanted to screw bay over, it's more likely that they underestimated the market reaction and thought more people would understand the surface assays are world class. You cannot sit here and say the surface results are bad. Well above the 1% required for an medium operation on Somerset island. (with the caveat of more drilling for scale being required).
There are definitely people with an agenda to sow fear, division and hatred. Impossible to say if they do it for money or just for fun, because the way some of them post it does look like they do it for a laugh.
I won't name names because it should be obvious to anyone looking at the difference in quality of posts made. Make your own mind up.
