I think there is a difference.
If there is a syndicate, then they are in stealth mode and buying / selling as a group, probably chatting on the socials to determine what to do and when.
The attack club (not the miserly drunk in the pub), are in my opinion paid up / paid for social media trolls utilised by firms both in Australia and 100% in Asia (I've first hand knowledge of them in Shanghai).
