Sad to see the pain and anguish brought on by this sell off. Mostly it is caused by the forced wait for new drilling to start in 2024.

Holders were faced with a choice - hold through the pull back, or sell and buy back, at an almost guaranteed lower price.
I think the selling was way overdone, and some who bought at the top are left stranded.

For me, I'm still showing profit on the heads - and 4 bags on the options - so I'm not angry, or annoyed, just disappointed that so many holders (many of whom have left now) were so shortsighted.

The irony is that now my oil well on the Alaskan North Slope will soon have a rig in site again for drilling and flow testing during the winter on an ice pad - its pull back was just over 50%, and I was able to double down there.
What a thing to look forward to, possible billion barrels of light sweet crude, or a billion tonnes of 3% copper. Don't be shortsighted.

It's good to put irresponsible downrampers in the sin bin - but I will never forget a lesson I learned from a downramper everybody was sick of. I got to talking to him privately, and learned he has badly disabled in a crash, received compensation and took advice from a licensed advisor and a broker who lost it all for him. He saw how others were losing money on the market and made that his life's (for what it was worth) work.
