We were all expecting some news by now but as some posters have already confirmed with JP the drilling is a lot slower than what many of us estimated due to the depth of the hole, planned maintenance and perhaps some unplanned challenges. I recall St George experiencing hole challenges during the recent drilling program that dragged on and ended in December 2021. S1 is much deeper so the likelihood of potential challenges is greater than the bulk of the previous holes.

I don't know where they are at with the hole at this time but they must be very close to the target area unless they have experienced the worse case scenarios being a hole collapse, lost drill bit, hole deviation, etc and they are wedging or redrilling it.

My advice is to stay patient and wait for the news which hopefully is not too far away.
