I drive past the turnoff to them regularly.
The government(s) would probably love it in the hopes that it would provide jobs etc, but unfortunately I dont see any mining ever being enough to save Roebourne, at this stage, with Australian / West Australian society and politics the way it is, it would take decades to reform and even get to the level of say South Hedland.
