The Magnum Dome is a fascinating beast. Not certain if it is actually a dome - at least not obvious as at Telfer. There has been a lot of work around the area and IMO and reading the report in Met2020's post looks like it be a current focus for the JV and hopefully for a long time if Calibre becomes a mine (satellite or other).
Since this exploration estimate was made only limited extensional/definition drilling has been conducted at Magnum.
The subsequent limited drilling may not have supported this model but probably wasn't enough to be conclusive. Calibre was found and Magnum put(?) on the back burner.
The old sections and plans of Magnum plus old soil/MMI results get trotted out occasionally. Perhaps they have been covered by IP/AEM/Gaip and found wanting. Here they are ... again...
