Gold stocks generally have been selling off since about July/August. Stocks like GOR, DEG, SLR, for example are about 40% off their 52 wk highs. NCM is about 30% off its 52 wk high. AZY has held up a bit better, currently trading at 26% off its 52 wk high of 6.2.
I'm watching to see if this gold stock correction is nearly done.
I'd like to see AZY hold it's current range. The longer it ranges potentially the better the next move. We will rerate when sentiment and money flow return to gold stocks. The continuing good news flow will help hold up price with a delayed reaction once sentiment and money flow etc improves.
