Over the last few decades the definition of high grade in gold mining as well as copper and other metals has decreased considerably. This becomes really noticeable with announcements like this mornings from NVA Nova Minerals.

Global gold resource increases to 9.9 Moz Au (1,102Mt @ 0.3 g/t Au) across the Estelle Gold Project, including a new super high-grade Measured component from surface of 180,000 oz @ 4.1 g/t Au at RPM North”

So if 4.1g/t is super high grade what are grades of 3,000g/t like Greater Boulder has been getting called ?

Superlative doesn’t seem to do it.

I will have to have a look through the dictionary.
