For the Southern stockworks I have a high and low estimate for contained gold ....
My input number for average grade is 1.8g/t
High estimate ... dolerite width 75m's [as per the diagram supplied in the ann], depth 200m's and strike 500m's = 843,750 ozs
Low estimate... dolerite width 40m's, depth 200m's and strike 500m's = 450,000 ozs.
However, with a vertically dipping deposit I am not sure how much they can get out open pit mining before they have to factor in a fair bit of wastage either side of the dolerite. Might get the first 100m's [i.e 200,000 to 400,000 ozs] fairly cheaply but I would think the average grades will drop below that limit...
I notice they state a planned 20,000m's for the Southern stockworks but have moved the rigs to the Northern and Crown Jewel after doing 12,500m's. In Jeff Williams presentation I seem to remember him saying the deposit tends to come to an end in the South and that the Northern stockworks is largely untested... also, the way I read things, they expect to find 2 styles of deposit in the North one of which is dipping only 45 degrees. Similar grades in this part of the deposit would put us over 1M ozs of commercial gold down to 200m's [assuming 1000m's of additional strike]. The remaining questions will be grades at depth and what is happening in the 'milky' quartz.
