The southern zone is mineralised and not just a blank magnetic anamoly!
The purpose of an Auger rig is to be a geochemical tool, that is, to be a precursor or a detectives lead to main drilling (RC or DD), basically a target finder as it tickles the surface as it looks for indications of mineralisation.
Well, we only went up to 12 or so metres deep and yep! There’s cobalt and nickel very similar to the northern target.
It’s confirmed...
Northern target over 3km x 500m mineralised in nickel and cobalt.
Southern target over 2km x 400m mineralised in nickel and cobalt.
It’s big.
Time for he RC rig to go deeper and hit the saprolite layers. Grades should be even better there! RC is already at work and results due this month!
