This PUT is absolutely irrelevant imo. If 12th Jul arrives and the put is struck with no recap then certainly came over and the put holder gets jack sheet. So why would they excercise it.
If on the other hand there is a recap and a recap based upon the option not being excercised then if I were the put holder I dont have a choice but to agree not to exercise it. As Trav mentioned one possible outcome for the put is to take installments over time at a small premium
