It also gives the company much more of a hand in the bargaining that must be going on amongst the competing interests.

I would imagine a recap/refinance announcement early next week?

My interest lies in the possibility of a trade based on a reasonable outcome for shareholders leading to the mother of all short squeezes. About 39 mill shorts outstanding from memory. Around 5 mill added in those last few days of trading that will be especially eager to close out.
