Yes aquisition or similar corporate action is in their stated medium to LT plans for the gold business.
It wouldn't surprise if the 20% of lithium business that FFX plan to hold gets sold to a super fund or similar insto after nameplate production is reached in a couple years and this provided all the cash needed to purchase a second sizeable gold project.

Thanks I knew I had read it somewhere and the initial cost was very high and it was running at a loss.
Interesting to see 1st qtr numbers
