    Like much higher worker wages, transport costs, energy costs, poor availability of equipment/spares, etc.?

    Best is to look at gold producer peers and their performance in this high cost environment. Which has been terrible of late.

    Not sure why 'this time it will be different' when the overall operating enviroment now appears more challenging than it was previously.
