I have been watching it for a long time and finally made a jump in today and will keep accumulating in market selloffs. I have a high conviction that this is a FY2023 story when EBIT is expected to rise by 40%. DeGrussa is winding down and until the market sees Montheo and Matsa at full steam the big re-rate is unlikely to occur.
Black Butte is the wild card depending on what happens. Logically one would not expect a copper mine (which is an increasingly critical material as its hard to find new ore bodies) to be knocked back. There may be a few additional environmental requirements tacked on to satisfy the opponents. If this goes through we could expect another boost.
I own stocks covering RE, Li, Ni, Al, ONG and iron ore. Copper was the critical missing part and after a lot of deliberation on the few options available on the asx for copper I feel SFR at this price is the safest investment. I look for "dont lose money" before I look at potential gains.
