If the price goes up then you have to ask yourself how greedy are you or do you want to just get out, because someone is more likely to buy the arbitrage of your oppies (price .005-.008) and you lose establishment fees or the market maker might just buy it, but if your price is too high too close to expiry there's no intrinsic value left in the options. Its definitly something that has to be talked about, dont worry man they get heaps of these calls but its important for everyone because your broker would rather have your money then have you just lose it to thin air.

Watch the Adam Koo videos, he trades like a trader and less like an investor but its good quality content, you have to think for yourself. Its really important you figure out what kind of trader you are or what combination of trader you are and how you manage risk in accordance to you financial allocation. Take an online course on business, economics and introduction into Finance, research how the instos and sofis have the benefit over you, research how taxes work, because this makes a huge difference in your plays.
