not strange, but normal. 'tis the market! of course you'd want to sweep up as many as you could at 5 if you had the $ to do so!
it seems to me like for some people on this board this is the first coy they have had experience with that has backdoor listed and needed to recomply. find some other reverse takeovers n the market read their announcements and you will see, whenever a 'minimum' share consolidation is announced, the share is immediately repriced to the 'minimum' implied price.
