Unlikely to be Raptor Global promoting the buying. They would be aware of the MOT plans given Marcus is also their MD and they are the companies corporate adviser. They would know a consolidation / dilution event is coming and that any buyers now would in all likely hood get crushed post restructure. would be corporate suicide I suspect - which wouldn't be their style.
